  • Now responsible for aligning Softeon’s sales, marketing and customer success strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention and overall financial performance.
  • Began his supply chain career at Manhattan Associates.
  • Previously worked at RedPrairie (now Blue Yonder), Kinaxis and BluJay Solutions (now part of E2open).
  • BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Professional Journey

Maley studied economics at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Softeon describes him as “a salesperson at heart”, and his supply chain career began at Manhattan Associates, the Atlanta warehouse and supply chain execution software company. He later worked at RedPrairie, a warehouse and workforce management vendor that became part of what is now Blue Yonder; Kinaxis, the supply chain planning company; and BluJay Solutions, a logistics software provider later combined with E2open. Softeon says the common thread across those roles has been building strong teams and driving growth through team culture, delivering promised value and creating scalable processes.

In November 2023 Softeon announced him as Chief Revenue Officer, one of several experienced supply chain executives it added at the time. The initial remit covered its sales, marketing and account management teams. CEO Jim Hoefflin said at the time that bringing on “this highly tenured team of supply chain leaders - many with deep WMS experience” would help Softeon build “an ecosystem of people, services, and products” for its warehousing customers. Maley said the opportunity in warehouse management, combined with Softeon’s “reputation for innovative technology and customer-centric culture”, made the move attractive.

He remains in the role. Softeon’s current leadership page describes him as responsible for aligning sales, marketing and customer success strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention and overall financial performance. He works alongside a leadership team that includes CEO Jim Hoefflin, CFO Nrupesh Dullur and CTO Mark Fralick.

He lives near Philadelphia.
