She joined Aderant in 2015 and, according to the company, is the first woman to serve as its CRO. Aderant describes her as a legal technology executive with more than 25 years in the industry; before Aderant she held client-facing roles at Cicayda and LexisNexis.

  • Joined Aderant in 2015 as a business development executive, later led the business development function, and became Vice President of Sales, North America in 2022.
  • Earlier served as senior vice president of client solutions at Cicayda and spent nearly 14 years as a client manager at LexisNexis.
  • Holds a Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University.

Professional Journey

Fenelon studied at Vanderbilt University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts, and went on to a Juris Doctor at Pepperdine University School of Law. Her career then ran through the commercial side of legal information and technology rather than law practice. She spent nearly 14 years as a client manager at LexisNexis, the legal research and information publisher, and later served as senior vice president of client solutions at Cicayda, a legal technology and e-discovery services company.

She joined Aderant in 2015 as a business development executive. Aderant sells financial and practice management software to law firms, covering time capture, billing and the wider “work-to-cash” cycle. Over the next several years she moved from the business development team to leading that function, and in 2022 she was appointed Vice President of Sales, North America, responsible for regional sales strategy and execution across Aderant’s product lines.

In March 2026 Aderant named her Chief Revenue Officer. The announcement, made by then President and CEO Chris Cartrett, said she would align Aderant’s product portfolio with the business problems law firms face as they seek better returns on technology spending. Fenelon described the job as ensuring Aderant “grows in the right way—predictably, sustainably, and always in service of our clients,” and pointed to her promotion as the company’s first woman CRO as evidence of a path to leadership from within. After Cartrett left the company in the summer of 2026, former CEO Deane S. Price returned as acting chief executive; Aderant’s leadership page lists Fenelon as CRO alongside her, Chief Financial Officer Kevin Janflone and Chief Client Officer Josiah Chaves.

She lives in Nashville, Tennessee.
