Executive Summary

Ken Hohenstein is Chief Revenue Officer of OneStream Software, the corporate performance management platform used by finance organizations to consolidate, close, plan and report from a single system. He has held the role since January 2022 and owns the company’s entire commercial motion — sales, pre-sales, value and transformation, global revenue operations and alliances. His decade at OneStream spans the most consequential stretch of its corporate life: he joined in 2016 as the company was building out its Americas sales organization, was running global revenue through its 2024 Nasdaq listing, was formally designated a Section 16 executive officer in 2025, and was still in post when Hg, Tidemark and General Atlantic took the company private in a roughly $6.4 billion transaction that closed on 1 April 2026. He came to enterprise performance management from the consulting side, having led the largest Oracle EPM consultancy team in the market at Huron Consulting.

Career Highlights

  • Chief Revenue Officer of OneStream since January 2022, responsible for global go-to-market including sales, pre-sales, value and transformation, global revenue operations and alliances, per the company’s Form 8-K of 8 April 2025.
  • Appointed an “executive officer” under Exchange Act Rule 3b-7 and an “officer” under Rule 16a-1(f) by board action on 3 April 2025, effective 1 May 2025 — the formal step that brought him inside the company’s Section 16 reporting group.
  • Served as OneStream’s Senior Vice President, Americas Sales from August 2016 until December 2021, the five-year run that preceded his promotion to CRO.
  • Led the largest Oracle EPM consultancy team in the market as a managing director at Huron Consulting before joining OneStream.
  • Still Chief Revenue Officer at the close of the Hg take-private: his final Form 4 as a reporting person covers a transaction dated 1 April 2026 and carries the officer title Chief Revenue Officer.
  • Party to the tax receivable agreement between OneStream, Inc., OneStream Software LLC and certain current and former LLC members, disclosed in the company’s November 2024 secondary-offering prospectus.

Professional Journey

Hohenstein’s career in corporate performance management began on the implementation side rather than the vendor side. He held senior leadership roles at Hyperion and then at Oracle, which acquired Hyperion in 2007, before moving to Huron Consulting as a managing director. At Huron he led what OneStream’s own filing describes as the largest Oracle EPM consultancy team in the market — a position that put him in front of the finance organizations that were, at the time, the incumbent base OneStream was setting out to displace.

He joined OneStream in August 2016 as Senior Vice President, Americas Sales. The company was then four years old and building the direct sales engine that would carry it from a challenger position into the Gartner leader quadrant. He held that role until December 2021 and was promoted to Chief Revenue Officer the following month, taking responsibility for a wider remit than sales alone: pre-sales, the value and transformation function, global revenue operations and the alliance channel all report into the CRO seat.

The next four years were a compressed sequence of corporate events. OneStream went public on Nasdaq in 2024 under the symbol OS and completed a secondary offering that November. In April 2025 the board formally designated Hohenstein an executive officer for Exchange Act purposes, effective 1 May — a governance step that made his holdings and transactions publicly reportable and, incidentally, produced the filings that now document his tenure precisely. The same board meeting moved co-founder Craig Colby from president to chief success officer and handed the president title to co-founder and chief executive Tom Shea.

The public chapter was short. On 6 January 2026 OneStream signed an Agreement and Plan of Merger with entities affiliated with the software investor Hg, and the transaction closed on 1 April 2026 at an aggregate consideration of approximately $6.4 billion, funded by equity from Hg, Tidemark and General Atlantic alongside a $1.4 billion term loan and additional facilities. The company filed a Form 25-NSE the same day, ending the Nasdaq listing. Hohenstein filed his last Form 4 that day, still as Chief Revenue Officer. OneStream’s leadership page continues to list him in the role under private ownership, though with deregistration the filing record that made his tenure independently checkable has come to an end.
