Professional Journey

His career as recorded in SEC filings begins at Amazon, where from February 2012 he was General Manager of Global Sales and Business Development for Amazon Marketplace and then, from January 2013, General Manager of Amazon Payments. In August 2014 he moved to eBay as Vice President of Sales and Merchant Development for its marketplaces, and in January 2016 to Adobe as Vice President of Sales.

In September 2017 he joined SVMK, the parent of SurveyMonkey, as Chief Sales Officer. The company filed for its initial public offering in 2018, and he was one of its named executive officers. His pay plan tied him to quarterly targets for both sales-assisted bookings and the self-service business, a combination central to SurveyMonkey’s model. In February 2021 his title became Chief Revenue Officer; by 2022 the company was filing as Momentive Global. On 1 August 2022 he gave notice that he would resign for personal reasons. He stayed through 3 October 2022 to hand over, and the Chief Customer Officer took on the sales-assisted business.

He next appears as Chief Revenue Officer of Sprout Social, the social media management software company, which listed him in its leadership team in investor presentations filed in May and November 2023.

By June 2024 he was Chief Revenue Officer of Customer.io. Founded in 2012 and led by founder and CEO Colin Nederkoorn, Customer.io sells a messaging and automation platform used by product and marketing teams. In interviews he has described his remit in terms of global sales teams, go-to-market strategy and outbound selling.
