Professional Journey
Morgenstern has spent more than 30 years in the technology services sector. She studied business at universities in Germany and Canada. Most of her career was at Atos, where she worked for more than 18 years. There she was chief executive of the German business and, separately, of the UK and Ireland business, and she led the Business & Platform Solutions global technology division. She then joined Cognizant as President of Growth Markets.
After Cognizant she took a period away from corporate life. During that time she earned a professional coaching qualification. She has said the training changed how she runs meetings, with more listening and more room for colleagues to contribute. She has also supported women founders and women-led investment through Hive Founders and WomenKind Ventures.
In September 2024 Littlefish, a Nottingham managed IT and cyber security provider, announced her as its new chief executive. Steve Robinson, CEO for nearly 14 years, handed over the day-to-day running of the business, stayed on in an advisory role focused on commercial management and new business, and kept a board seat. At the time the company described itself as on course for £100m turnover. It had grown from about £1m in 2010 to a run rate of around £70m and, after growing largely organically, had recently acquired Storm Technologies in Ireland. Morgenstern said the Storm deal, investment in cyber security and the managed services business would drive further growth.
As CEO she has changed the company’s name from Littlefish to Littlefish Group. It is now organised around four pillars, managed services, cyber security, digital solutions, and data and AI, and it concentrates on health, energy and utilities, and financial services. In January 2026 she told TechMarketView’s View from the Top podcast that the company, then about 800 people, intended to grow revenue from roughly £80m to £150m within three years through organic growth, a more scalable sales engine and selective acquisitions. She has said Littlefish will not pursue acquisitions where the culture does not fit.
Outside Littlefish she co-hosts the German-British podcast Positively Hybrid, mentors people early in technology careers and advises on digital strategy at Birkbeck, University of London.
Education
Littlefish Group says she holds business degrees from universities in Germany and Canada. It does not name the institutions, and no other first-party source was found, so none are recorded.
