Professional Journey
Huckin joined Hebbia at the start of 2026. In a post on the company blog dated 5 February 2026, written in his second week, he said he chose the company after a six-month search that included “multiple processes, extensive due diligence and rigorous back channelling”. He gave three reasons. The first was the technology: he argued that Hebbia has “a real moat” in a market crowded with thin wrappers around large language models. The second was the culture. The third was its leadership, naming chief executive George Sivulka and Aabhas Sharma.
Hebbia announced the appointment on 5 March 2026 in a Business Wire release datelined London. It named Huckin as Regional VP and Paul Boland as Head of Content, the two leadership hires anchoring a larger regional buildout. The company said it had signed several new enterprise customers and expansions across the U.K. and EMEA since the start of that year. These included work with global advisory and private equity organisations and a major expansion with a multinational investment firm operating in Ireland. The expansion followed the opening of Hebbia’s London office in autumn 2025. In the release, Huckin said European organisations were no longer “experimenting with AI” but “operationalizing it in critical workflows”.
Hebbia’s own materials describe his background only as experience across financial services and enterprise software in the U.K. and European markets. His earlier employers are not recorded here because no primary source names them.
