Professional Journey
Seifert earned a bachelor’s degree in finance at Siena College. In 2001 he joined Mythics, a Virginia Beach company then built mainly on reselling Oracle software to government buyers, to build its Federal Civilian Oracle resale business. His remit grew over the next two decades to cover all federal business and then the whole public sector sales organisation, including state, local and higher education. Mythics says he was at the forefront of capturing and negotiating its most complex contracts. He also served on the Oracle Partner Advisory Board.
In January 2023 One Equity Partners became Mythics’ majority owner, and the founders and senior leadership kept a minority interest. Seifert, then a sector president, was promoted to chief executive. He said One Equity Partners’ IT services expertise and operational support would help Mythics improve its solutions and advance “our mission of helping government agencies modernize their IT systems.”
Under his leadership Mythics has grown through acquisitions. In September 2024 it bought the technology resale business of Three Wire Systems. In April 2025 it acquired Smart ERP Solutions, an Oracle Cloud and PeopleSoft implementation firm, and Seifert pointed to the “strong alignment” between the two companies’ technical maturity and culture. In May 2025 it bought SpearMC, a Pleasanton, California Oracle consulting and support firm. Together the deals moved Mythics beyond resale and infrastructure into Oracle applications, covering SaaS, PaaS, IaaS and on-premise systems. In September 2025 the company presented its expanded Oracle AI work at Oracle AI World, and Seifert spoke of “building partnerships that define the next era of growth.”
He lives in Virginia Beach. Outside work he is a golfer and snowboarder. He volunteers through his church and the Judeo-Christian Outreach Center to support people experiencing homelessness, and he sits on the board of the Begin Again Foundation, which funds sepsis and toxic shock syndrome education and supports survivors and their families.
