Executive Summary
Nick Lantuh is President of the Interpres Group within CyberProof, the managed security services company owned by the IT services group UST. He arrived there by acquisition: CyberProof bought Interpres Security, the continuous threat exposure management start-up he co-founded and ran as chief executive, in December 2024, and folded its technology into a pitch to be the first managed security provider offering complete continuous threat exposure management. It is the latest in a long run of company-building in security. Lantuh was founding President of NetWitness, which EMC bought in 2011; Executive Chairman of eSentire through its 2017 sale to Warburg Pincus; and President and CEO of Fidelis Cybersecurity when Skyview Capital acquired it in 2020.

Professional Journey
Lantuh holds a BS from Cornell University and an MBA from the University of Rochester’s Simon Business School. CyberProof describes 35 years of start-up and company-building experience, beginning in senior roles at a series of start-ups in endpoint security, network security, optical networking and wireless whose outcomes included an IPO and acquisitions by Cisco, McAfee and Ceridian.
The venture that made his name was NetWitness, based in Herndon, Virginia. CyberProof says he was its Founder and President, securing funding, building the management team and running day-to-day operations from inception to sale; a Form D filed with the SEC in January 2010 lists him as an executive officer and director alongside Amit Yoran. NetWitness ranked 21st overall on the 2010 Inc. 500 and first among software companies on that list, was named the fastest-growing company in Virginia for 2011 by the Virginia Chamber of Commerce, and was acquired by EMC in 2011. In the same period he was twice an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist and later served as a judge for the programme’s Greater Washington region.
He then served as Executive Chairman of eSentire, providing strategic and operational leadership through its sale to Warburg Pincus in 2017. SEC filings from 2016 also list him as a director of Dispersive Networks, an Alpharetta, Georgia company. At Fidelis Cybersecurity, the Bethesda, Maryland provider of network traffic analysis and incident response tools, he was brought in as President and CEO to execute a turnaround; about two years later, in January 2020, Skyview Capital acquired the company from its investor consortium.
He next co-founded Interpres Security, headquartered in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, by a team with a background delivering security services to the Department of Defense. Interpres built software for continuous threat exposure management and automated security control assessment — testing whether an organisation’s defences actually cover the threats it faces, continuously rather than in annual audits. It began working with CyberProof in late 2023, and CyberProof acquired it in December 2024. “Partnering with an industry leader like CyberProof — focused on large enterprises and supported by UST, a major digital and IT solutions provider — enables us to scale our innovative CTEM and ASCA solutions,” Lantuh said at the time. He now leads the business as President, Interpres Group, within CyberProof, where the chief executive is Tony Velleca.
