Executive Summary

Aaron Crittenden is President of Rx Marketplace at GoodRx, the Nasdaq-listed prescription-savings platform. Rx Marketplace is the business GoodRx was built on — the price-comparison and discount-card engine that sits between consumers, retail pharmacies and pharmacy benefit managers — and Crittenden is accountable for both its management and its financial performance, as well as for the partnerships with pharmacies, PBMs, employers and drug manufacturers that make it work. He is an unusual fit for the seat because he did not come up through the consumer side: he joined GoodRx in 2020 and made his name building the company’s Pharma Manufacturer Solutions offering, which reached more than $100 million in revenue within a few years, before being promoted to president of the core marketplace in March 2025.

Career Highlights

  • Appointed President of Rx Marketplace on 18 March 2025, effective immediately, with responsibility for the management and financial performance of GoodRx’s Rx Marketplace offering.
  • Owns GoodRx’s commercial relationships with retail pharmacy, pharmacy benefit manager, employer and manufacturer partners — the four counterparties that set what a GoodRx price actually is.
  • Grew GoodRx’s Pharma Manufacturer Solutions business from launch to more than $100 million in revenue in just a few years, per the company’s own announcement.
  • Joined GoodRx in 2020 and held a sequence of senior commercial roles before the promotion, including Head of Manufacturer Solutions, Chief Revenue Officer and Senior Vice President of New Business.
  • Also serves as a strategic adviser to GoodRx’s chief executive.
  • Founded ReMy Health, which delivered electronic data to automate specialty pharmacy hubs and manufacturer affordability programmes, and built parts of the PillPack data network.
  • Started at Allscripts, where he owned electronic prescribing, pharma and PBM innovation, and the patient portal business — the plumbing of US prescribing rather than the consumer front end.

Professional Journey

Crittenden’s career has been spent on the data layer underneath American prescription pricing, which is the throughline that explains an otherwise varied path. He began at Allscripts, the electronic health-record company, holding a variety of positions that included ownership of electronic prescribing, pharma and PBM innovation, and the patient portal business. That work put him at the point where a prescription becomes an electronic transaction.

He then founded ReMy Health, which focused on delivering electronic data to automate specialty hubs and manufacturer affordability solutions, and which also developed portions of the PillPack data network. Affordability programmes — copay cards, patient assistance, hub services — are notoriously manual, and automating them requires exactly the prescribing-data knowledge he had built at Allscripts.

He joined GoodRx in 2020. Rather than being slotted into the existing consumer marketplace, he built a new line of business: Pharma Manufacturer Solutions, selling to drug manufacturers rather than to consumers or pharmacies. GoodRx says that business passed $100 million in revenue within a few years. Over that period he also held the titles of Head of Manufacturer Solutions, Chief Revenue Officer and Senior Vice President of New Business.

In March 2025, under chief executive Wendy Barnes, GoodRx named him President of Rx Marketplace, handing him the core business and its partner relationships, together with an advisory role to the CEO. The same announcement named Scott Pope as Chief Pharmacy Officer and Head of Clinical Engagement, pairing a commercial leader for the marketplace with a clinical leader for the professional side.
