  • Quoted as President in September 2017, announcing a 162,000 square foot expansion of ABW’s 3000 Cobb International facility in Kennesaw. He described it as the sixth addition or new facility since 2013.
  • Said then that the expansion would take growth of ABW’s public warehousing footprint to more than 230% in five years.
  • Quoted as President in August 2025, when Inbound Logistics named ABW a Top 100 3PL Provider for the fourteenth consecutive year.

Professional Journey

Atlanta Bonded Warehouse was organised in 1948 by a Peter Paul candy broker to provide protective warehousing to the confectionery industry. It traded as Acme Bonded Warehouse until 1981. It moved into contract logistics in 1985 with a regional distribution centre in Kennesaw for a large chocolate manufacturer. In 2000 it opened a Southeastern Distribution Center for Hershey Foods, and it later opened contract facilities in South Carolina and Mississippi.

Keith is on record as President by 2017, when the company was well into a period of rapid growth in its public (multi-client) warehousing. Temperature-controlled buildings opened on Cobb International Boulevard in 2016 and on Barrett Lakes Boulevard in 2017, and a 162,000 square foot expansion of the 3000 Cobb International facility followed in 2018. Announcing that expansion, he said it was the sixth addition or new facility since 2013 and that the public side of the business would have expanded its footprint by more than 230% in five years. He attributed the growth to the company’s “customer service orientation and focus on quality”.

Since then ABW’s history records a 500,000 square foot ambient facility in Lithia Springs, Georgia (2019). It also took over dedicated temperature-controlled operations at a 1.5 million square foot site in Irving, Texas (2020) and a 920,000 square foot site in Clayton, Indiana (2024), and public warehouse operations in Hazelton, Pennsylvania (2024). In August 2025, when Inbound Logistics named ABW a Top 100 3PL Provider for the fourteenth consecutive year, he said the recognition was “a testament to the hard work of our team”.
