Professional Journey

Schaublin took an undergraduate degree at Defiance College, in the town where Keller is based. He joined Keller Logistics Group in 2002 as a night dispatcher.

According to the company, his work since then has spanned every affiliate. In the warehousing business he led several warehouse management system implementations. At Keller Trucking he researched and launched a heavy-haul programme and set up fleet maintenance for all equipment. Across the group he built performance reports that track trends over time so problems can be spotted earlier. Along the way he completed an MBA at Bowling Green State University.

He became the group’s Chief Operating Officer, and the company now titles him President and Chief Operating Officer. Keller has not published when either appointment was made. By November 2024 he was COO: that month Keller hired Daryl Mickley as President of Keller Warehousing & Co-Packing, reporting to Schaublin. Announcing the hire, Schaublin cited Mickley’s “pragmatic, customer-first approach” as Keller continued “expanding our distribution and co-packing services across the United States”.

In July 2026 Keller named Mel Hudson-Nowak, formerly of US Foods and GM Financial, as its Chief Technology Officer. Schaublin said her record of leading supply-chain technology change “at the scale and complexity we are building toward” was what the company needed. That month Keller also announced him as a panelist for its 8th Annual Keller Logistics Summit in Defiance, where he was billed to speak from the operator’s side on cargo theft, driver capacity, diesel costs and labour regulation.

Outside work, the company says he enjoys golf, motorcycles and Cleveland sports.
