Professional Journey
Daily studied hospitality management at Boston University and built his career in digital advertising. By 2021, Teads’ SEC filing said he had 15 years’ experience across video, display, branded entertainment, data and programmatic.
In 2013 he joined Teads, the video advertising company, as its first employee in the Americas. The company’s 2021 registration statement says he started the business from a coffee shop in Brooklyn. He built it into a major part of the North American ad-tech market and became Global President as well as CEO for North America. OpenWeb puts his Teads tenure at nearly ten years. It says the North American business grew from nothing to $275 million in annual revenue on his watch, and that Teads as a whole grew to $750 million across 30 countries. In 2021, Teads also said he sat on several industry boards, including the Mobile Marketing Association.
After Teads, he was founding CEO of LinksDAO, a venture that OpenWeb describes as “turning a passion for golf into an $11 million business in just 10 months.”
OpenWeb announced him as chief executive in March 2025, and he took over on 1 April. The company, formerly Spot.IM, hosts conversation and community tools for publishers and sells advertising around them. It had been run by interim CEO Tim Harvey, who became Executive Chairman when Daily arrived. Daily said the mission was what drew him: “The idea of fostering healthier, more meaningful online conversations is something I believe in deeply and it’s critical for business and also society.” He leads a team that includes President and CFO Haim Sasson.
