Professional Journey

Manjooran began his IT career in India in November 1989 at CMC Limited, then one of the country’s established computer services companies, working in business development and regional marketing. He moved in 1992 to Jeraisy Computers and Communications Services, a Saudi Arabian IT business, as a business unit manager — a step that took him from selling into a single national market to running a commercial unit in an entirely different one.

In 1997 he joined SRA Systems as Executive Vice President, a role he held for five and a half years. It was during this period, between 1998 and 2000, that he completed an Executive MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. The sequence matters: the degree sits between running someone else’s business unit and starting his own, and the two years immediately following it are the two years before DivIHN was incorporated.

He founded DivIHN Integration in September 2002. The firm’s opening business was what it calls talent mobilisation — IT staffing — which is a capital-light way to start a services company and a hard one to differentiate. Manjooran’s answer was to build outward from it rather than compete on rate. DivIHN added business technology transformation, digitalisation and process automation, cybersecurity, and operations and management services, then layered specialist practices on top: enterprise architecture, data analytics with AI and machine learning, and platform practices around Microsoft, Salesforce, ServiceNow and electronic data interchange.

Alongside that, he pushed the firm through a sustained accreditation programme. SBA 8(a) certification, a CMMI appraisal, CMMC Level 2 and three ISO standards together represent years of audited process work. They are the reason a firm of DivIHN’s size can bid federal and state work at all, and they are the clearest evidence of a deliberate strategy: rather than remain a commercial staffing supplier, DivIHN positioned itself where the compliance bar keeps competitors out.

Manjooran also appears on the leadership of Geval6, a separate global technology services firm with which DivIHN shares senior people and complementary service lines. In 2006 he co-founded TEPEE, a Technology Peer Exchange Forum, and has coordinated it since — a peer-network role that sits outside the business itself.
