Executive Summary

Harrison Rose is co-founder and chief executive of GoodFit, a London company that builds go-to-market data and intelligence for B2B sales and marketing teams. He is best known as the co-founder of Paddle, the payments and monetization platform for software businesses, which he started with Christian Owens at 18 instead of going to university, and where he ran go-to-market, revenue and strategy for more than a decade. GoodFit grew out of that work. Its premise is the internal data engine Paddle built to decide which accounts to pursue, turned into a product for other companies. It operated bootstrapped and profitable before raising a $13 million Series A led by Notion Capital in September 2025.

  • Raised GoodFit’s $13 million Series A in September 2025, its first outside funding, with Notion Capital leading and Salica Investments, Inovia Capital, Robin Capital, Common Magic and Andrena Ventures participating.
  • Co-founded Paddle with Christian Owens at 18 and ran all of its go-to-market, revenue and strategy functions.
  • GoodFit credits him with scaling Paddle to $100 million in revenue and a $1.4 billion valuation.
  • Works with Notion Capital’s portfolio companies as a Go-to-Market Expert.

Professional Journey

Rose co-founded Paddle with Christian Owens when he was 17, nearly 18. He had been due to start university, but raised funding for the company that summer instead and did not go. Notion Capital tells the story of him driving straight from school to Paddle’s first office in Corby on the day of his A-level results, without opening them. The business was incorporated in 2012 as Paddle.com Market Limited. It became a subscription and commerce platform for software businesses.

At Paddle he led go-to-market, revenue and strategy. By 2019 the company had about 140 employees, around 1,500 customers and $25 million raised. Over the following years it grew to hundreds of staff and appeared repeatedly in Deloitte’s Fast 50 list of the UK’s fastest-growing technology companies. GoodFit puts his Paddle record at $100 million in revenue and a $1.4 billion valuation.

GoodFit came out of Paddle’s sales machinery. Aleksander Bury, now GoodFit’s co-founder and chief product officer, built the data engine Paddle used to map its market, qualify accounts and decide whom to target. Rose and Bury turned that approach into a company, and the current operating entity was incorporated in 2020. GoodFit sources, scores and grades every account in a customer’s market, including the accounts missing from the customer’s CRM, and runs the data, models and workflows as a managed service. The leadership team includes Adam Kay, who ran Paddle’s commercial function, as chief revenue officer.

GoodFit ran without venture funding and was profitable until September 2025, when it raised a $13 million Series A led by Notion Capital. Rose also sits on Notion Capital’s bench of operators as a Go-to-Market Expert. In that role he advises portfolio companies on moving from early customers to a defined ideal customer profile, making go-to-market repeatable and scaling revenue operations.

Education

Rose did not attend university. He started Paddle in the summer before he was due to begin a degree.
