Professional Journey

Kasturi studied computer science and engineering at Andhra University in India. SolarWinds’ disclosures credit him with more than 20 patents across a range of technology areas, and his work has centred on cloud, data management, security and networking infrastructure.

In April 2014 he founded Avni Networks, serving as president, chief executive and chief technology officer. Veritas Technologies acquired the company, and in December 2016 Kasturi joined Veritas as Vice President of its Cloud and Data Management Business Unit, where he stayed until May 2018. In February 2019 he became Chief Product and Development Officer of Pulse Secure, the secure-access company.

He joined SolarWinds in March 2021 as Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer, reporting into a leadership team headed by chief executive Sudhakar Ramakrishna. By 2023 he was one of its five executive officers. He was responsible for product management, engineering, product marketing, strategic alliances and portfolio management, and presented product strategy at the company’s November 2021 investor day, as SolarWinds moved from monitoring towards observability. He gave notice in August 2023 and left the role in November of that year, then consulted for the company until February 2024.

HG Insights named him chief executive in June 2024. The company built its business on technographic data, meaning which technologies companies use and what they spend on them. Under Kasturi it has recast itself around what it calls Revenue Growth Intelligence. It bought TrustRadius in June 2025, bringing buyer reviews into its data, and MadKudu in August 2025, adding lead and account scoring. Product launches since include platform copilots in March 2026 and a review platform built for generative-engine search in August 2026.
