Professional Journey

Before founding SER, Rosenblum spent 15 years in sales and management roles at ADP, Oracle and SAP, where he built and led the Utility practice at both Oracle and SAP; the firm’s own account is that those practices “thrived and flourished under his guidance and leadership.” That combination — enterprise software selling, vertical practice building, and the recruiting problem that comes with both — is the basis of the business he went on to start.

In 1999, at the inception of the internet, he launched SER & Associates as a retained executive search firm with a deliberately narrow mission: identify the top decile of talent in the software industry, internally validate every candidate rather than passing along a résumé, and introduce them into high-growth, progressive technology firms. The firm has stayed close to whichever technology wave is current, forming partnerships with vendors in R&D biotechnology, AI, machine learning, robotics, big data, social and SaaS, and has served over 200 clients since inception across the US, Canada, EMEA and APAC.

Rosenblum leads the firm as Founder, CEO and Chairman of the Board, alongside a leadership team that includes Chief Financial Officer Gary Morgan, a Penn State accountancy graduate with a Saint Joseph’s MBA who has been CFO across healthcare and service-delivery businesses, and Chief Human Resources Officer David Bomzer, whose background spans automotive, building products, medical diagnostics, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals.

Outside the firm, Rosenblum founded the SER Foundation in 2011 to raise money to cure cancer, and has ridden the Tour de Cure, the 50-mile fundraising bicycle event benefiting the American Diabetes Association. The company describes him as an avid skier, scuba diver, tennis player and thrill seeker.
