Executive Summary

Guy Moskowitz is co-founder and President of Coro, a cybersecurity company that sells a single workspace security platform, covering endpoint, email, cloud applications, network and data protection, to lean IT teams and the managed service providers that serve them. He ran Coro as CEO for roughly its first decade, building it around a fully channel-driven sales model, and in July 2025 handed the chief executive role to Joe Sykora, a channel veteran he had brought in earlier that year, while staying on as President with a focus on global expansion and strategic initiatives. Before Coro his background was in telecommunications sales leadership, most visibly as Executive Vice President of Sales at satellite networking company Gilat.

Career Highlights

  • Co-founder and President of Coro; the company’s own site lists him as “Founder, President”.
  • Led Coro as CEO for about ten years, until Joe Sykora succeeded him in July 2025.
  • Under his leadership Coro was ranked on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 in 2024 for a second consecutive year and named to the Fortune Cyber60 in two consecutive years, according to the company.
  • Executive Vice President of Sales at Gilat Network Systems, quoted in Gilat’s SEC-filed announcements of satellite broadband contracts in 2009 and 2010.
  • Earlier worked at IXI Mobile, where he was among the employees named in its 2006 merger agreement.

Professional Journey

Moskowitz’s career before Coro ran through Israeli communications technology. A 2006 merger agreement filed with the SEC, under which Israel Technology Acquisition Corp. agreed to combine with IXI Mobile, lists him among IXI Mobile’s employees in Israel. By 2009 he was Executive Vice President of Sales at Gilat Network Systems, part of Gilat Satellite Networks, and the company’s filings from 2009 and 2010 quote him on contracts for its SkyEdge II VSAT platform, among them a network for schools in Panama with Cable & Wireless Panama and a defence-related turnkey deployment, as well as a retail connectivity deal with Regis in the UK.

He co-founded Coro with Dror Liwer and Doron Milchtaich. The company set out to make security workable for organisations without dedicated security staff: one agent, one console and one invoice across the main attack surfaces, with the platform resolving most threats automatically. As CEO, Moskowitz committed Coro to selling entirely through the channel, a strategy he discussed with CRN in mid-2025, and the business expanded internationally with an office in London and entry into Australia and New Zealand. Its investors include Balderton Capital, JVP, One Peak and EIP.

In July 2025 Coro named Joe Sykora, who had joined earlier that year as senior vice president and general manager for the Americas and ANZ, as chief executive. Moskowitz called leading the company from a small startup into a global business “the honor of a lifetime” and said the company’s momentum made it the right time to hand over. He moved into the role of President, which Coro’s website continues to list.
