Professional Journey

Dudek studied business administration at Babson College, concentrating on entrepreneurship and marketing. He officially joined Jay Group in 2012 as Director of Business Development in the sales department, where he worked on customer service and fulfillment solutions for clients.

The company says he has since worked in every one of its divisions. In Customer Care he was Vice President of Contact Center Services, overseeing new technology that improved efficiency and, by the company’s figure, raised adherence by more than 20%. In Fulfillment Operations, as a vice president, he set up the Hempland Road warehouse and ran it through its first peak season.

Jay Group was started in 1965 by Jay Chryst, whose business was built on promotional materials. His daughter, Dana Chryst, became president at 30. Over the following decades the company changed direction several times and is now largely an eCommerce fulfillment business. It also offers contract packaging, kitting, reverse logistics and subscription fulfillment. The company reports more than 500,000 square feet of space across Lancaster, Pennsylvania and Reno, Nevada, and holds ISO 27001 certification and FDA registration.

In a September 2022 LNP | LancasterOnline article on family business succession, Dana Chryst said her son had been president “for some time” and that she had promoted him to chief operating officer the previous year. She said the move “really accelerated during COVID”, when the business doubled two years running. The article described Dudek, then 32, as running the company’s day-to-day operations. Chryst remains CEO, and the company’s current management-team page lists him as President & COO directly beneath her. In February 2026 he was quoted in that capacity announcing the appointment of a new Vice President, Strategy, to lead the company’s work on fulfillment scalability, carrier diversification and last-mile delivery.
