Professional Journey

Frayman has built companies with the same partners for more than a decade. With Laurent Gil he co-founded Viewdle, which Cast AI investor Cota Capital describes as one of the earliest machine learning startups; Google later acquired it.

He then co-founded Zenedge, a cloud-based web application and network security company in Los Angeles. Its 2015 SEC filing lists Frayman as President and CEO and a director, with Leon Kuperman as a fellow executive officer and director. In February 2018, Oracle announced an agreement to acquire Zenedge to add cloud network and infrastructure security to its portfolio.

Cast AI came out of a problem the three founders had run into at Zenedge: cloud bills that rose faster than they could control as the business scaled. They founded Cast AI in 2019 with Frayman as CEO, Kuperman as CTO and Gil as President. The company built automation for Kubernetes that continuously right-sizes and rebalances infrastructure across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, and it later extended the approach to AI and GPU workloads.

In April 2025, Cast AI closed a $108 million Series C led by G2 Venture Partners and SoftBank Vision Fund 2, with Aglaé Ventures, Hedosophia, Cota Capital, Vintage Investment Partners, Creandum and Uncorrelated Ventures participating. It reported more than 2,100 customer organisations. In January 2026, it announced a strategic investment from Pacific Alliance Ventures that valued it at over $1 billion. It also launched its GPU marketplace at the same time. The company names Akamai, BMW, Cisco, FICO, Hugging Face, NielsenIQ, Swisscom and TGS among its customers, and has opened offices in Bangalore, London, New York and Tel Aviv.
