Professional Journey
Madi came to Ravensburger from Mega Brands, where he worked as part of the company’s North American commercial team. He joined Ravensburger in 2014, and in 2020 became Head of Ravensburger Canada.
In January 2023 Ravensburger AG announced a leadership change in North America. Filip Francke, who had led the region, moved to a new role as Global Head of Games, and Madi was named CEO of Ravensburger North America, extending his remit from Canada to the whole of the U.S. and Canadian business. Announcing the move, group CEO Clemens Maier said Madi would “continue to build Ravensburger’s brands into household names throughout the U.S. and Canada”. The North American portfolio he took on covers the Ravensburger, BRIO, ThinkFun and Wonder Forge brands.
As CEO he has been a regular voice for the company in the hobby and specialty trade. In a 2023 interview with ICv2 he described himself as “a big specialty store shopper”, and in May 2025 he answered ICv2’s questions on how U.S. tariffs were affecting Ravensburger’s pricing.
