Voigt studied management at the Georgia Institute of Technology, earning a Bachelor of Science, and later took an MBA at the Wharton School. His early career ran through Atlanta’s first wave of internet companies. He helped launch nFront, an early provider of internet banking services, and take it public. He was later Chief Operating Officer of Innuvo, which Fullstory’s biography says was acquired by Google, and worked at Noro-Moseley Partners, which the company describes as the Southeast’s largest venture firm. He then led marketing at Silverpop ahead of its acquisition by IBM.

Fullstory’s legal history begins with Monetology, LLC, an Atlanta company incorporated in 2012 that filed its first Form D in July 2014, recording a $1.5 million raise with Voigt as chief executive and director. The business, renamed FullStory, Inc., built a platform that captures and analyses digital interactions so companies can understand, measure and optimise customer experience. Voigt’s co-founder, Joel Webber, remains listed on the company’s leadership page.

The company raised progressively larger rounds. Its August 2021 Form D recorded $102.8 million sold, with a board that then included Ted Schlein, Karim Faris, Alex Estevez, Ron Shah, Ryan Barretto and Bruce Chizen, and a further $25 million followed in 2022. In March 2026 the Technology Association of Georgia named him the 2025 inductee into the Technology Hall of Fame of Georgia, citing more than 25 years in technology and startups and describing Fullstory as having become a market-leading platform across industries. In the announcement he credited Atlanta’s technology community as “an ecosystem that values pragmatism over hype and long-term building over shortcuts”. He lives in Atlanta and plays in what he calls an “old man lacrosse league”.
