Executive Summary
Ryan McLarry is Chief Executive Officer of Thermomix USA, the Dallas-based U.S. business of the German Vorwerk Group, which sells the Thermomix all-in-one kitchen appliance through a network of independent consultants. He was appointed in August 2025, a week before the U.S. launch of the Thermomix TM7, with a mandate to accelerate the brand’s growth in a market Vorwerk regards as largely untapped. His background is a mix of corporate strategy and operating roles across home appliances, consumer electronics, industrial technology and telecoms, including Samsung Electronics Home Appliances, TE Connectivity, AT&T and the private equity-backed Alkegen. It began, fittingly for a direct-selling business, in direct sales at Cutco.

Professional Journey
McLarry started out in direct sales with Cutco, the cutlery company, where he became a top performer, and the company that later hired him points to that start as the basis for his interest in consultant-led selling. After studying at the University of Michigan and taking an MBA at Vanderbilt University, he moved into corporate strategy, including a role on AT&T’s Corporate Strategy team shaping growth initiatives.
He then worked across hardware and appliances. At Samsung Electronics Home Appliances he held a leadership position in which he helped grow the company’s share of the competitive North American market. At TE Connectivity, the connector and sensor manufacturer, he was Director of Strategy and Business Development, and at Alkegen, a private equity-backed company, he served as General Manager and Head of Growth Strategy.
In August 2025 Vorwerk LLC announced his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of Thermomix USA. The timing was deliberate: the U.S. launch of the Thermomix TM7 followed on September 2, after the June opening of the company’s flagship Experience Center in Dallas and the hiring of a new marketing director in April. Thermomix, first sold in 1971, is Vorwerk’s best-known product; Vorwerk itself is a family-owned company founded in Wuppertal, Germany, in 1883, and describes itself as the leading direct seller of household appliances. McLarry’s brief is to drive U.S. momentum behind the TM7 and contribute to the group’s global growth. He described the U.S. business at his arrival as combining “product brilliance, passionate community, and untapped market potential.”
