Professional Journey
TopSolid traces its origins to Missler Mecanique, founded in Evry by the Missler brothers in 1977, and to Missler Informatique, created in 1984. The entities merged as Missler Software in 2001, and in 2005 the company passed to a second generation of owner-managers. Lamure represents the third. In a transmission plan that he said had begun three years earlier, the management team he led, with co-managers Philippe Julliard, Patrice Tiberi and Jean-Louis Jammot, took majority control in a buyout announced in early 2019. Siparex led the investor pool, alongside Bpifrance and IRDI, while the 2005 owners and iXO Private Equity sold. At that point the company reported about EUR45 million in turnover, 50,000-plus clients and about half its revenue from outside France.
Lamure set out two priorities at the takeover: faster international development through acquisitions, and a broader TopSolid software range with new business applications. In 2019 Missler Software took the name of its flagship product and became TopSolid, repositioning its offer around the digital factory. The acquisitions followed. In an interview for Siparex’s newsletter he described one deal in Belgium signed just before the 2020 lockdown and two more, in the Czech Republic and France, completed during it without anyone having to travel. The same interview describes how the pandemic pushed TopSolid to move customer training and sales demonstrations online, and he admitted that he had doubted remote working until then and no longer did.
Internationally, TopSolid launched TOPSOLID India in 2020 as a strategic partnership based in Mumbai. In the French business magazine Capital that year Lamure stressed the group’s wish to stay independent and keep its engineering know-how in France. Since then TopSolid has grown to EUR72 million in turnover and 420 staff in 2025, with around 120,000 licences in use worldwide. Its recent partnerships include Egger, Hranipex and, in 2026, the wood-construction fastener maker Rothoblaas.
