Professional Journey
Iverson spent more than a decade as a real estate broker in Vail, Colorado, with Slifer, Smith & Frampton, overseeing billions of dollars in transactions and building deep expertise in resort real estate, including multimillion-dollar fix-and-flip projects. When the COVID-19 pandemic significantly increased his tax burden from his booming brokerage business, his accountant introduced him to the tax advantages of commercial real estate investing, transforming his financial outlook and career direction.
Iverson founded Veritas Equity to create lasting passive income and reduce tax burdens for himself and his family through multifamily real estate investing, later opening the strategy to other accredited investors. The firm identifies best-in-class value-add and core-plus multifamily assets, partnering with experienced operators nationwide to provide investors access to a diversified portfolio of professionally managed properties. Iverson and his wife, Laurie, have personally invested significant capital in the firm’s projects, and he has spoken publicly on multiple real estate investing podcasts about buy-and-hold strategy, deal vetting, and the long-term housing shortage. He and Laurie also support charitable causes through the Iverson Family Charitable Trust.
Education
Iverson attended Oral Roberts University (1995-1999).
