Dupré earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA in finance and management from the University of Texas at Austin, according to Lowe’s. She began in finance and accounting, practicing as a certified public accountant in Texas and working at Dell, IBM and EY, before moving into human resources, where she held several leadership roles at Dell.
From June 2015 to October 2017 she was vice president of diversity and inclusion and chief diversity officer at McKesson, the healthcare company. She joined Lowe’s in November 2017 as vice president of leadership development and global chief diversity officer, and in January 2020 became senior vice president of talent management and diversity, a role covering culture, learning and development, leadership development, Lowe’s University, trade skills programs and succession planning.
In June 2020 she was named executive vice president of human resources. She is responsible for the strategy and operations that enable Lowe’s to attract, develop, reward and retain associates, oversees the company’s community engagement and its corporate communications and events, and chairs the Lowe’s Foundation. As of 30 January 2026 Lowe’s operated 1,759 home improvement stores and outlets in the U.S. and more than 540 branch locations in the U.S. and Canada, including those of Foundation Building Materials and Artisan Design Group, which it acquired in 2025, according to its 10-K.
She serves on the board of trustees of Johnson C. Smith University and is a member of the Executive Leadership Council and the CEO Roundtable Lieutenant Group.
