Professional Journey

Brown earned a BBA in management information systems and services at the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. She joined The Home Depot in 1998 as an associate systems engineer and took on roles of increasing responsibility in the technology organization.

She was Vice President of Information Services from 2017 and Senior Vice President of Information Technology from May 2022, when she and her team developed technology for merchandising, online, customer, marketing, Pro and supply chain functions. Women in Technology named her its 2022 Woman of the Year in Technology.

In May 2025 she became Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer. She has completed Harvard Business School’s Authentic Leadership Development Program and Carnegie Mellon Heinz College’s CIO Program, and serves on the board of Junior Achievement of Georgia.
