Professional Journey

Saboo trained as an engineer, with a bachelor’s degree from Punjab Engineering College in India and a master’s from Virginia Tech, and later earned an MBA at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. A 2019 profile also credits him with being integral to the growth of Saboo Coatings Limited, an Indian specialty industrial coatings company.

In 2006 he co-founded Harmonia Holdings Group with Pallabi Saboo and Marc Abrams at Virginia Tech’s Corporate Research Center in Blacksburg, Virginia, with the stated aim of bringing innovation and change to federal IT. The company grew into a contractor serving federal civilian, health and defense agencies, with more than 600 staff. By 2019 Saboo was its Chief Operating Officer.

In September 2024 Madison Dearborn Partners made a strategic growth investment in Harmonia, and Damon Griggs became CEO and Chairman. Under that deal the Saboos retained significant ownership and continued in the business as strategic advisors, with Pallabi Saboo also joining the board. Harmonia acquired the cybersecurity firm Maveris in 2025 and in April 2026 renamed itself Revolutional. Revolutional’s published leadership page lists Pallabi Saboo and Marc Abrams among its co-founders; it does not list Jai Saboo, and his current role there is not publicly stated.

Outside Harmonia, Saboo has been a supporter of the education nonprofit Pratham for more than a decade and joined Pratham USA’s national board in 2019. He is a member of the Rotary Foundation’s Arch C. Klumph Society and Virginia Tech’s Ut Prosim Society, and with Pallabi Saboo established a scholarship at Virginia Tech in their names.
