Professional Journey

Rosenblatt’s career began in digital advertising. He joined DoubleClick in 1997, when it was an early provider of ad-serving and digital marketing technology, as part of its initial management team. He became President in 2000 and Chief Executive Officer in July 2005, and he ran the company until Google acquired it in March 2008. He moved to Google with the acquisition and served as President, Global Display Advertising, from October 2008 to May 2009.

He had joined the board of IAC in December 2008, and he has stayed on it through the company’s many restructurings. IAC renamed itself People Incorporated in June 2026, and its stock now trades on Nasdaq as PPLI. Stockholders re-elected him at the July 2026 annual meeting, and he sits on its Compensation and Human Capital Committee. He also served on the board of Twitter, later X Corp., from December 2010 to October 2022, and on the board of Farfetch UK Limited, a subsidiary of the luxury fashion marketplace, from 2017 to 2023.

In November 2011 he became Chief Executive Officer and a director of 1stDibs. The business had begun as a listings site that aimed, in the company’s words, to bring “the magic of the Paris flea market online” for top vintage and antique furniture dealers. Under his leadership it launched an e-commerce platform in 2013 and became a full e-commerce marketplace in 2016. Sellers are vetted by in-house experts. The company is now listed on Nasdaq under the ticker DIBS. For 2025 it reported net revenue of $89.6 million and gross merchandise value of $363.9 million, with 7.8 million users and about 1.9 million listings at year end. He remains CEO: he signed the company’s Section 302 certification for the second quarter of 2026, and a Form 4 filed in September 2026 gives his title as Chief Executive Officer.

In 2025 he joined the board of Etsy, another two-sided online marketplace, where he sits on the Compensation Committee.
