Professional Journey

Herscovici’s early career was in product strategy at Motorola Mobility, where he was director of product strategy and operations for North America. He then moved to Comcast and stayed nearly twelve years, working on the consumer connectivity products that Plume now sells into. He headed up Comcast’s internet product, worked on the launch of metro Wi-Fi hotspots, DOCSIS 3.0 gateways and the Signature Support premium tech-support service, and launched Xfinity WiFi, which grew into one of the world’s largest residential hotspot networks. He left operating roles to become a partner at Edison Partners, a Princeton-based growth-equity firm that invests in companies at Series B and later. SEC filings show him as a managing member of the general partner of Edison Partners X in 2021, and as a director of MacroFab in 2021 and of RapidDeploy in 2023.

Plume, founded in 2014, had been led on an interim basis by co-founder Adam Hotchkiss before Herscovici’s arrival.
