Executive Summary

Christine Oliver is President of d-wise, the statistical computing and clinical trial transparency business of Instem, a life science software group founded in the UK in 1969 and owned by private equity firm ARCHIMED since 2023. Instem announced her appointment on 21 April 2026, shortly after it relaunched the d-wise brand. She came to the role after two terms as a chief executive in clinical technology, at Beaconcure and before that at endpoint Clinical. Before those she held senior roles at Labcorp, where Instem says she was head of software solutions, and at Takeda.

Career Highlights

  • Appointed President of d-wise, an Instem company, in April 2026, responsible for its strategy and growth.
  • Most recently Chief Executive Officer of Beaconcure, an AI company automating clinical data validation in biometrics.
  • Previously Chief Executive Officer of endpoint Clinical, which works in randomization and trial supply management for clinical trials.
  • Earlier held senior roles at Labcorp, described by Instem as Head of Software Solutions, and at Takeda.

Professional Journey

Oliver’s career has run through the technology behind clinical trials. Instem describes it as more than two decades of work building organisations and technology meant to get therapies to patients faster. Before she ran companies of her own, she held senior roles at Labcorp, the laboratory and drug development services group, where Instem’s announcement calls her head of software solutions, and at the pharmaceutical company Takeda.

She then led endpoint Clinical, a specialist in randomization and trial supply management, the systems that assign patients to study arms and make sure the right drug supply reaches each trial site. She went on to be chief executive of Beaconcure, whose software uses AI to automate the validation of clinical data in biometrics, the statistical work that turns trial data into submission-ready results. Beaconcure’s own leadership page now names a different chief executive.

In April 2026 Instem appointed her President of d-wise. Founded in 2003 and now part of Instem, d-wise provides statistical computing environments and clinical trial transparency services, including de-identification of trial data and documents, to pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO and medical device companies. Her appointment followed the relaunch of the d-wise brand in early 2026. Instem chief executive Vik Krishnan said she had “spent her career building clinical technology organizations that lead industry transformation”. In the announcement she pointed to multi-language computing, open-source adoption and AI-driven validation as the tools now available to the industry.
