Executive Summary
Lori Greeley has been Chief Executive Officer of Serena & Lily, the home furnishings and decor brand known for its coastal style, since 2015. Her tenure has been defined by a move that runs against the usual direction of retail: she has taken a business that began online and in catalogues into physical stores, through a network of “Design Shops” that reached its 19th location with a Charleston opening in March 2026. She came to the company from lingerie retail, having spent roughly two decades at Victoria’s Secret Stores, the last six as its chief executive, followed by a year running Frederick’s of Hollywood through its bankruptcy. She has been an independent director of the footwear company Caleres since 2015.

Professional Journey
Greeley’s career was built in merchandising at Victoria’s Secret Stores, the intimate apparel chain that was then a subsidiary of Limited Brands. Filings place her in executive merchandising and management roles there from 1993, and from 1995 to 2007 as Executive Vice President and General Merchandising Manager, a role that also put her on the executive committee. In January 2007 she became the division’s Chief Executive Officer and held the post until April 2013.
Her next role was a turnaround in difficult conditions. In June 2014 she became Chief Executive Officer of Frederick’s of Hollywood, a women’s intimates retailer that was then in operational and financial distress, having been taken private in 2013. She led it through a Chapter 11 filing in April 2015 and a sale of its e-commerce operations to Authentic Brands Group, which the Caleres proxy describes as achieved at a significant premium to the equity value at which the company had been taken private. She left in June 2015.
That year she became Chief Executive Officer of Serena & Lily, a home furnishings company that had been built as a digitally native brand. Under her the business has broadened its product range across furniture, bedding, wallpaper, lighting and outdoor categories and opened a chain of Design Shops, in markets from Atlanta, Dallas and Chicago to the New York area and Pacific Palisades. Opening the Charleston shop in March 2026 in a restored 19th-century building in the city’s French Quarter, she described the physical stores as a way to let customers see the quality of the collections in person, and the company as aiming to meet customers “wherever they want to shop.”
Alongside her executive roles she has served on public-company boards. She joined the boards of both Caleres, the footwear company behind Famous Footwear and a portfolio of brands, and the apparel retailer New York & Company in 2015. She left the New York & Company board, by then renamed RTW Retailwinds, in 2019, having chaired its compensation committee. At Caleres she sits on the Culture, Compensation and People Committee and was re-elected for a further one-year term in May 2026. She is also involved with Bucknell University, where she sits on the Freeman College of Management Advisory Board and speaks in its leadership programme.
Education
No degree information was found in the SEC filings reviewed. Her role with Bucknell University is an advisory board seat, not a recorded degree.
