Rowe earned a Bachelor of Science in agriculture business from Iowa State University, a JD from Drake Law School and a TRIUM Global Executive MBA from NYU Stern, the London School of Economics and HEC Paris, according to ADM. In July 2026 ADM announced his appointment as executive vice president and chief operating officer, effective 17 August 2026, after he stepped down as Syngenta’s chief executive on 1 August. He oversees the three business units, four regions, global operations, research and development and sustainability, and is a member of the Executive Council. ADM, based in Chicago, reported 2025 revenues of $80.3 billion across three reportable segments, Ag Services and Oilseeds, Carbohydrate Solutions and Nutrition, according to its 10-K.
