Executive Summary

Dustyn Kim is President of Artsy, the New York-based online marketplace that connects thousands of galleries, auction houses, art fairs and institutions with collectors worldwide. She joined in 2017, rose to Chief Revenue Officer, and in June 2024 became the first woman to serve as the company’s president, keeping responsibility for all revenue lines while taking on broader business and operations leadership alongside CEO Jeffrey Yin. Before Artsy she spent her career in strategy and general management at information companies, most notably running a $500 million division of LexisNexis.

Career Highlights

  • President of Artsy since 26 June 2024, the first woman in the role.
  • Chief Revenue Officer of Artsy for roughly four years before that, leading the marketplace business across galleries, art fairs, auction houses and institutions.
  • Joined Artsy in 2017 as vice president of galleries, fairs and institutions.
  • Over her tenure Artsy’s partner base grew to more than 4,000 galleries, auction houses, fairs and institutions in over 100 countries.
  • Named to the Observer’s Business of Art Power List in 2024.
  • Previously General Manager and P&L owner of LexisNexis’s second-largest division, a $500 million business.

Professional Journey

Kim studied English literature and economics at Denison University and later earned an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She began in consulting, spending several years in strategy and operations at Deloitte Consulting, and then led strategy and corporate development at Fitch Group. At LexisNexis she led strategy and operations for the North American division, working on growth plans that ranged from internal initiatives to partnerships and acquisitions, and then became general manager and P&L owner of the company’s second-largest division, a $500 million business serving law firms, corporations and government agencies.

She joined Artsy in 2017, initially as vice president of galleries, fairs and institutions, and later became Chief Revenue Officer. In that role she led Artsy’s marketplace business: expanding the gallery business, building tools for partners, strengthening the secondary-market offering with new ways for collectors to buy, and leading teams across sales, partner relations, marketing and operations. Artsy credits her with work on the platform’s security, so that buyers and sellers can transact with confidence at a distance, an average of 3,000 miles.

In June 2024, shortly after Jeffrey Yin was promoted from chief financial officer and general counsel to chief executive earlier that month, Artsy named Kim President, effective immediately. She kept oversight of every revenue line, took on broader leadership across business and operations, and a larger role in corporate development. She has since represented the company publicly, including at the Talking Galleries symposium in Barcelona in 2025, where she discussed the state of the online art market.

Artsy’s ownership has since changed. Beowolff Capital, led by Andrew Wolff, acquired majority control of Artsy, having taken Artnet private in 2025, and in April 2026 the two companies announced they would combine under shared leadership, with Wolff as chairman and Yin as chief executive while the Artsy and Artnet brands remain separate. Artsy continues to list Kim as its President.
