Executive Summary

Chad Gold is Chief Financial Officer of Fullstory, the Atlanta company that helps technology leaders bring behavioral data into their analytics stack. He was appointed in April 2025, in what is his fourth chief financial officer role, following CFO roles at G2, Salesloft and Rubicon Global. The appointment that defines his record is Salesloft, where he was CFO for five and a half years through Series D and E rounds and a majority investment by Vista Equity Partners, a period over which the company’s enterprise value rose, by Fullstory’s account, from $200 million to $2.3 billion.

Career Highlights

  • Appointed Chief Financial Officer of Fullstory on 22 April 2025, overseeing its financial strategy and operations.
  • Previously CFO of G2, the software marketplace, responsible for financial performance, investor relations, legal, business development, business operations, real estate and facilities.
  • CFO of Salesloft for five and a half years, through Series D and E funding rounds and a majority stake investment by Vista Equity Partners; signed Salesloft’s January 2021 Form D as CFO.
  • Earlier CFO of Rubicon Global and Global Vice President and CFO at SAP Ariba, after finance leadership roles at The Home Depot.
  • Named a CFO of the Year by the Atlanta Business Chronicle in 2022.

Professional Journey

Gold studied finance at the University of Florida and later earned an MBA from Emory University. He began his career as a senior consultant in business valuation in Ernst & Young’s Atlanta office, then moved to The Home Depot, where he held several finance leadership roles across financial planning and analysis, international operations, and mergers and acquisitions.

He moved into technology as Global Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at SAP Ariba, the procurement software business, and then became CFO of Rubicon Global, the waste and recycling technology company.

His longest CFO tenure was at Salesloft, the Atlanta sales engagement software company, where he spent five and a half years. Fullstory credits him with overseeing a tenfold rise in enterprise value, from $200 million to $2.3 billion, across the company’s Series D and E rounds and a majority stake investment by Vista Equity Partners. A Form D that Salesloft filed with the SEC in January 2021, covering about $98.6 million of securities sold, is signed by him as Chief Financial Officer. The Atlanta Business Chronicle named him a CFO of the Year in 2022.

He then became CFO of G2, the software review marketplace, where his remit extended beyond finance to investor relations, legal, strategic business development, business operations, real estate and facilities.

Fullstory appointed him Chief Financial Officer in April 2025. Chief executive Scott Voigt said his experience in scaling technology companies aligned with the company’s plans for growth, and Gold described Fullstory as well placed in AI because of the depth and quality of its behavioral data. He works alongside Voigt and President Jason Wolf.
