Professional Journey
Beachy studied economics at Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania, and took an MBA at the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Graduate School of Business. His career, which Clyde describes as more than thirty years of industrial sales, marketing and operations management, has been spent in engineered equipment for process industries.
He became President of Raymond Bartlett Snow, a Naperville, Illinois business that designs, manufactures and builds size reduction, classification and thermal processing equipment, with operations in Brazil and India. RBS was then a division of Arvos Group, owned by the private equity firm Triton. In May 2018 Arvos agreed to sell RBS to Schenck Process, and Beachy, named in the announcement as President of RBS, said he was “very excited to welcome Schenck Process as a new owner.” He subsequently served as Senior Vice President of Sales at Schenck Process.
Clyde Industries itself was formed in 2019, when Clyde Bergemann Power Group carved out its pulp and paper business and sold it to Wynnchurch Capital. The business traces its roots to a family sootblower maker founded in 1924, and through a series of acquisitions it had absorbed Anthony-Ross, known for recovery boiler port cleaning, and the sootblower assets of Copes Vulcan. On February 22, 2021 the board appointed Beachy Chief Executive Officer, with chairman Frank Hayes saying the board expected him to grow the company “organically, and through future acquisitions.” Danny Tandra, who had been interim President, stayed on in a permanent President role.
On October 7, 2025, Kadant Inc., the Westford, Massachusetts supplier of industrial processing technology, completed its acquisition of Clyde Industries Holdings and affiliates for $175 million in cash, bringing the company into Kadant’s Industrial Processing segment. Beachy signed the purchase agreement for Clyde as its Chief Executive Officer and said the company was “proud to become part of a global industrial leader.” Clyde’s own site now lists him as President at the head of its executive management team.
