Professional Journey
Morrall is a native of the United Kingdom and a graduate of Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School in Illinois, according to Shaw Local. At Voortman USA he served as Vice President of Sales before becoming President of the U.S. business.
Voortman, founded in 1968 and based in Rijssen in the Netherlands, makes CNC steel processing machinery and software, used by fabricators producing structural steel for buildings such as warehouses and data centres. Its U.S. entity was incorporated in Illinois in 2005. For most of its history in America it imported its machines from the Netherlands. In October 2024 Morrall broke ground with Illinois Governor JB Pritzker on a new 27-acre campus in Monee; the state put the capital investment at $51.4 million and committed $10 million in additional support through Invest in Illinois. “We are laying the foundation for a promising future and demonstrating that economic growth and government support can go hand in hand,” he said at the ceremony.
The team moved into the new facility on 4 May 2026. Morrall framed the project around proximity: “North America has been one of our fastest-growing and most important markets for years,” he told the company. “This facility allows us to be closer to our customers, respond faster, and offer stronger service.” In July 2026 Voortman announced that it had invested more than $50 million in the site, created more than 100 jobs and delivered its first American-built machine, to a customer in Phoenix. “This is just the beginning,” Morrall said. By September 2026 he was pointing local press to the company’s edge in automation: “our machines are much more automated than the competitor’s machines.”
Education
No university education record was found. Shaw Local reports that he graduated from Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School in Illinois.
