Executive Summary
Brad Schweigert is Chief Operating Officer of PXG, Parsons Xtreme Golf, the Scottsdale golf equipment and apparel company founded by GoDaddy founder Bob Parsons, and sits on its Board of Directors. He was on PXG’s founding team: Parsons hired him away from Ping, where he had built his career in golf club engineering, to design clubs without the cost constraints usual in the industry. He led PXG’s products as Chief Product Officer through its growth from a start-up into a recognised brand. In November 2025 the company promoted him to run product, operations, marketing and sales together. An engineer now oversees the company’s commercial functions as well as its products.

Professional Journey
Schweigert trained as a mechanical engineer and went into golf club design at Ping, the Phoenix-area club maker. He rose into management there. In a 2023 podcast interview he said Mike Nicolette, a PGA Tour winner working as an engineer at Ping, “at that time worked for me”, and that he had expected to retire at the company.
Nicolette had met Bob Parsons by chance on a golf course. By 2013 Parsons had stepped back from GoDaddy and wanted to build a golf equipment company, although the industry had been flat for a decade. Nicolette brought Schweigert into the conversation. Schweigert has described the decision to leave Ping as one that “a lot of people thought” was crazy, and said he would have regretted turning it down. Parsons hired both men. Fortune reported in 2016 that Parsons had so far put about $12 million into the venture and hired “Chief Product Officer Brad Schweigert” and Nicolette away from Ping “to build the best, and most expensive, golf clubs on the planet”. There were no cost constraints, and a metals expert advised them. The first result was the PXG 0311 forged iron.
As Chief Product Officer he led a design process built on rapid, repeated prototyping, and PXG’s range grew to cover players from mid-handicap amateurs to its tour staff. The company later described him as having “helped define PXG’s relentless approach to research and development” as it grew from a start-up into a globally recognised brand.
On 18 November 2025 PXG announced him as Chief Operating Officer. He oversees Product, Operations, Marketing and Sales and leads cross-functional work across them. In the same announcement PXG named Jill Davis Chief Information Officer and set up a Board of Directors that includes both of them. Parsons said Schweigert “has been with PXG since day one, helping shape who we are and where we’re going.”
