Provenir describes his career as more than 15 years of building and leading finance functions at global technology companies and private-equity-backed firms. At Rackspace Technology, the cloud services company, he was CFO for the EMEA region and part of the leadership team that took the company public. He then became Group CFO at Builder.ai, a software development platform.

Provenir announced his appointment as Chief Financial Officer on 5 September 2023. Founder and CEO Larry Smith said Elizondo brought “a unique blend of technical knowledge and financial expertise” and would support Provenir’s expansion and market leadership goals. At the time of the announcement Elizondo was based in London. He took on Provenir’s global finance team across New Jersey, where the company is headquartered in Parsippany, the United Kingdom and India.

Provenir sells a cloud-native decisioning platform and a data marketplace. Financial services providers use them to automate credit risk, onboarding, customer management, collections, and fraud and identity decisions. Elizondo remains on Provenir’s leadership team as Chief Financial Officer.
