Executive Summary

Alix de Sagazan is a co-founder of AB Tasty, the French experimentation and personalization software company, and Chief Revenue Officer of Wingify, the business created when AB Tasty and its Indian-founded rival VWO announced their combination in January 2026. She ran AB Tasty as Co-CEO alongside co-founder Rémi Aubert, and in the combined company she leads go-to-market. The deal is the notable part of her record: rather than selling AB Tasty outright, the founders merged it with a competitor of similar age and shape, announced as producing more than $100 million in combined annual revenue and over 4,000 customers, and remained significantly invested in the result.

Career Highlights

  • Chief Revenue Officer of Wingify, responsible for the combined go-to-market strategy of the AB Tasty and VWO businesses.
  • Co-founder and, until the combination, Co-CEO of AB Tasty.
  • Co-founded the conversion agency Liwio with Rémi Aubert in 2009; AB Tasty’s software was first tested with Liwio’s clients in 2011.
  • Co-led AB Tasty into the combination with VWO announced on 20 January 2026, backed by Everstone Capital as the largest institutional shareholder.

Professional Journey

De Sagazan met Rémi Aubert while both worked at a Paris web agency specialising in online traffic acquisition. Convinced that converting visitors mattered more than acquiring them, the two founded Liwio in 2009, an agency focused on conversion. In 2011 they tested the first version of an A/B testing tool with Liwio’s clients, saw its potential, and built AB Tasty around it; Liwio was wound down at the end of 2012.

AB Tasty grew into a platform for experimentation, personalization and feature management, used by brands including Sephora, Puma, Club Med, Disney and Galeries Lafayette, and raised more than $63 million from investors including XAnge, Omnes Capital and Partech. De Sagazan and Aubert ran it as co-CEOs.

In their own account, the founders spent about two years exploring what the company’s next chapter should be before settling on VWO, an Indian-founded competitor that, in their words, started on a different continent at about the same time. The combination was announced on 20 January 2026, with more than $100 million in combined revenue, over 4,000 customers, more than 800 staff and 11 offices. VWO co-founder Sparsh Gupta became CEO of the combined entity and Everstone Capital committed further capital to remain its largest institutional shareholder, while AB Tasty’s earlier investors exited. De Sagazan became Chief Revenue Officer and Aubert took the customer and strategy role. The business now presents itself as Wingify, with de Sagazan steering its combined go-to-market strategy.
