Professional Journey

Staible joined Robinson Fans in 2008. Local press reports that she started as risk and marketing manager and later became vice president of sales and marketing and then executive vice president. The company says she led sales and production and served as its chief legal counsel over those years. She has lived and worked at two Robinson sites, the Utah operation and the Pennsylvania headquarters. The company says that experience helped her understand both headquarters and its outlying facilities.

In 2016 she became President. Carl Staible, who held the role from 2001 to 2016, has been CEO and Chairman of the Board since 2009. The company she runs is old even by industrial standards. Samuel Robinson and his son J.R. Robinson founded the Robinson Machine Company in Monongahela, Pennsylvania, in 1892 to supply the coal industry. It became the Robinson Ventilating Company in 1907, specializing in mine ventilation, and moved to Zelienople in 1921, where its flagship plant still is. Over the following century its market widened to high-temperature fans for steel, crop drying, fertilizer and, from the 1970s, pollution control. It added a plant in Lakeland, Florida in 1976, a service operation in Trussville, Alabama in 1986 and a Salt Lake City presence in 1993.

Under her leadership the company has kept expanding. It acquired a machine company in Lakeland in 2016, and in 2025 it combined its operations into a single company it calls One Robinson. In May 2026 it announced the acquisition of Specialty Fabrication in Lakeland, adding industrial manufacturing and fabrication capacity. Robinson emphasizes custom engineering over standard fan lines, and offers 24/7 emergency breakdown service with a dedicated rapid-repair team.

She is active in the region’s business community. In 2024 she joined the Board of Governors of the Manufacturer & Business Association. The Butler Eagle also reported affiliations with the American Boiler Manufacturers Association and the Pittsburgh chapter of YPO. She Builds, held at the Zelienople facility, reflects an interest her company biography describes as “encouraging women in leadership and in manufacturing.” It offers welding simulators, talks from women in the industry, plant tours, a career fair and scholarship information.
