Professional Journey
Cooper began her career in Cleveland’s steel industry, spending 17 years with a national family-owned steel company where she managed HR and finance functions. She studied accounting at Cleveland State University.
She then joined Technologent, and for 15 years served as its Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Human Resources. The company describes that period as its growth phase, with revenue and gross profit rising about 25% a year and the business moving from an emerging startup to an established technology integrator with more than $500 million in revenue. Alongside the finance function she built the company’s HR processes, which Technologent says cut turnover by more than half, and the headcount grew to about 300 employees.
She was subsequently promoted to Chief Executive Officer and Chairman while keeping the CFO role. In that combined position she is responsible for Technologent’s sales, finance, personnel, legal, corporate and governance functions, and the company says it is now approaching $1 billion in revenue with offices across the United States and abroad. She leads a team that includes founder Tom Gallaway, President Marco Mohajer and Chief Revenue Officer Rod Wright.
Her recognition has followed that growth. CRN named her to its 2025 Women of the Channel list and to its Power 80 Solution Providers list, and in January 2026 WBEC-West named her its 2026 WBE STAR, an award for a certified woman-owned business leader. Outside the company she is a member of the Public Directors Association, Financial Executives International and the Association for Corporate Growth, and she has served on boards including those of the American Red Cross and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
