Executive Summary

Steve Grieco is chief executive officer of MedeAnalytics, a Richardson, Texas company that sells data and analytics software to health plans and risk-bearing providers, helping them manage cost, quality, utilization and reimbursement. He joined in September 2021 as an outside, operations-minded CEO: a lawyer by training who spent roughly 25 years at Pitney Bowes, then ran two private companies in business services and health benefits, SourceHOV and ConnectYourCare. That background, large-scale operations followed by healthcare fintech, is the profile MedeAnalytics’ board said it wanted to take a long-established analytics vendor into cloud-native software and AI.

  • Chief Executive Officer of MedeAnalytics since September 2021, appointed by a board chaired by Ron Jones.
  • Leads a company now positioned around its Health Fabric data platform and AI-driven workflows; MedeAnalytics was named Best Overall Healthcare Data Analytics Platform in the 2026 MedTech Breakthrough Awards.
  • CEO and President of ConnectYourCare, a health savings account administrator, which grew organically under his leadership before its sale to a Fortune 25 company.
  • CEO of SourceHOV, a global business process solutions and data analytics provider.
  • Some 25 years at Pitney Bowes in successive leadership roles, culminating in responsibility for its $2.2 billion US Mailing Operations.
  • J.D., Seton Hall School of Law; B.S. in Marketing, Seton Hall University.

Professional Journey

Grieco studied marketing at Seton Hall University and went on to earn a law degree at Seton Hall School of Law. His career, however, was built in operations rather than practice. He spent about 25 years at Pitney Bowes, moving through a series of leadership positions and finishing in charge of the company’s US mailing operations, a business MedeAnalytics describes as a $2.2 billion unit.

From there he moved into chief executive roles at privately held companies. He was CEO of SourceHOV, a provider of business process solutions and data analytics. He then led ConnectYourCare, a Hunt Valley, Maryland administrator of health savings and other consumer-directed health benefit accounts; SEC filings for the company list him as chief executive officer and a director in both 2015 and 2018. According to MedeAnalytics, CYC achieved significant organic revenue growth under his leadership before it was acquired by a Fortune 25 company.

MedeAnalytics appointed him chief executive in September 2021. Its chairman, Ron Jones, cited his SaaS background, global experience and team-building as the reasons for the choice. The company has long provided analytics to payers and providers, and describes itself as a healthcare intelligence partner for more than 30 years. It now presents itself as a healthcare performance-improvement company, built around Health Fabric, an enterprise health data platform that unifies clinical, claims, financial and social data, with AI-powered workflows and advisory services on top. In November 2022 MedeAnalytics appointed Reese Feuerman, who had been CFO and later president of ConnectYourCare, as its chief financial officer.

Grieco has framed the company’s pitch around execution rather than data volume. Accepting a 2026 MedTech Breakthrough award, he said that “many smart organizations are drowning in data they can’t activate”, and that the problem MedeAnalytics addresses is turning that data into prioritized, measurable return.
