Professional Journey

Schrader began his career in 1982 as General Manager at Schreiber Wholesale Service. From 1992 to 2000 he was Vice-President of Operations for the Healthcare Americas division of Exel Logistics (DHL Group).

He then moved into business development. From 2001 to 2007 he was Senior Vice President of Business Development at Arnold Logistics, and in 2007 he joined Jacobson, later part of XPO, as Vice President of Business Development. From 2016 to 2018 he was Chief Sales Officer of MXD Group, and in 2019 he joined Kane Logistics as Chief Commercial Officer.

ID Logistics, founded in France in 2001, completed its acquisition of Kane Logistics in April 2022. On completion it named Schrader CEO of ID Logistics US, with William Parramore, who had overseen US operations, becoming Chief Commercial Officer of the combined business. At the time of the appointment he had more than 35 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management.

The group reported €3.7 billion in revenue for 2025 across about 450 facilities in 19 countries. In July 2026, ID Logistics US entered Armstrong & Associates’ annual ranking of the Top 25 North American Warehousing 3PLs at No. 17. Commenting on the ranking, Schrader said the business had “significantly expanded our network and capabilities” over the past several years.
