Professional Journey

Ayyeppen trained as an electrical engineer, taking a B.S. at the University of Madras in India and a master’s at the University of Texas at Dallas — a route that put him in North Texas, where the rest of his career has been based.

He co-founded Keste and led it as President for sixteen years. Keste built digital commerce and business transformation systems, the unglamorous but load-bearing work of connecting an enterprise’s commerce front end to the order management, pricing and fulfilment machinery behind it. Sixteen years is a long tenure for a founder-president in services, and it spans the period in which enterprise application work moved from on-premises implementations to cloud platforms. During that stretch he became a recognised figure in the Dallas-Fort Worth business community: the Dallas Business Journal named him to its 40 Under 40 in 2014 and to its Minority Business Leader list the same year, and he has been a finalist for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year. He is a member of YPO Dallas Gold.

He moved to Argano after Keste, and now holds the CEO title for Argano One. Argano describes itself as a global specialist consultancy focused on the design and delivery of high-performance business operations, with an AI-forward approach to transformation, and it is structured in a way worth being precise about: Chip Register is Group CEO of Argano LLC, Ayyeppen is CEO of Argano One, and Randall Orbon is CEO of ArgaNext, the corporate development arm, and ArganAI, the artificial intelligence division. That structure exists because Argano grows substantially by acquisition. Its own news feed records a rapid run of deals — Ascend in workforce management and HCM, Gaea Global Technologies in Oracle Primavera and supply chain execution, investments in Netlogistik, Advantco and APM to deepen SAP capability, and in September 2026 GoSaaS, in product lifecycle management, described by the company as its fourteenth acquisition since launching a 2025-2026 strategic growth initiative. The firm works across Oracle, Microsoft, SAP, Salesforce, Workday, Blue Yonder, Snowflake, Databricks and more than two dozen other platform partners.
