Professional Journey

Anderika began her career on the supervisory side of American banking. For nearly a decade she worked at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, first as a National Bank Examiner and later as a Large Bank Examiner, checking that national banks operated safely and complied with the law.

She then spent eight years at Promontory Financial Group, a bank regulatory consulting firm that IBM later bought. There she worked with traditional financial institutions on risk management and compliance. She also helped found Promontory’s Digital Assets Risk and Compliance Team, which guided digital asset custodians through state and federal licensing. According to Anchorage, that work included helping the Wyoming Division of Banking on supervisory guidance for crypto.

In January 2022 Anchorage Digital Bank named her its first Chief Risk Officer. The bank had received its OCC charter nearly a year earlier and had grown its headcount by 175% in 2021. Her job was to oversee risk and compliance against the standards the OCC set for the bank. She had worked on both sides of that relationship, which is why the appointment fit.

She later moved into operations. By 2025 American Banker listed her as Global Head of Operations and Chief Operating Officer. In a November 2025 American Banker podcast she discussed Anchorage’s white-label stablecoin issuance service and its partnerships with Western Union and U.S. Bank. She described the Federal Reserve’s proposed “skinny” master account as “a really great signal to the market”, because it would let institutions like hers reach payment rails without full master account privileges. On 24 June 2026 she appeared as a witness, as Head of Global Operations at Anchorage Digital, at the House Financial Services Committee hearing on the future of payments.

She lives in Connecticut.
