Executive Summary

Peter Trizzino has been President, Global Sales of Dell Technologies since January 2026, overseeing its sales and presales teams and the global partner ecosystem that resells its products. He has spent more than 30 years in technology sales, 25 of them at EMC and Dell: he started at Xerox, joined EMC in 2000, and after Dell’s acquisition of EMC ran the DT Select business and then North America sales. In 2025 he led an effort to simplify, standardize and automate Dell’s sales processes before taking over global sales from Bill Scannell. Professional Journey

Trizzino earned a bachelor’s degree at Loyola University Maryland and began his career at Xerox. He joined EMC in 2000 and held a series of sales and leadership roles there.

After Dell acquired EMC in 2016 he continued in sales leadership. He was senior vice president of DT Select from June 2020 and its president from February 2021 to January 2023, and then president of North America sales from February 2023 to August 2025.

In August 2025 he became president of global sales modernization and go-to-market, a role in which, according to Dell, he simplified, standardized and automated end-to-end sales processes to increase speed and customer engagement. In January 2026 he took over global sales from Bill Scannell, who became chief customer officer, and now oversees sales, presales and Dell’s partner ecosystem worldwide. His biography names customers and culture as his two priorities.

Outside Dell he serves on the board of NPower, a nonprofit that helps veterans and underrepresented groups build IT skills and technology careers.

In the global sales role he works with Bill Scannell, who now concentrates on customer and partner relationships, and with chief marketing officer Geraldine Tunnell on the go-to-market side. His biography says he believes trust comes from understanding customers’ businesses, solving complex problems and following through on commitments, and that he builds teams around high performance standards. With 25 of his more than 30 years in technology spent at EMC and Dell, he fits a leadership team in which every executive officer has spent at least two decades at one of the two companies.
