Professional Journey

Faust earned a B.S.E. in operations research and financial engineering at Princeton University and an MBA at Harvard Business School. He was a member of the executive team at Diapers.com, where he built its fulfilment and delivery network, offering free one- and two-day shipping nationwide and same-day delivery in key markets.

He co-founded Jet.com, the mass merchandise eCommerce marketplace, and as its Chief Operating Officer led first-party merchandising, replenishment, fulfillment and customer service, and launched its Smart Cart pricing model. After Walmart acquired Jet.com in 2016 he was Senior Vice President of Walmart U.S. eCommerce Supply Chain, leading a multi-year overhaul of customer delivery.
