Professional Journey
Lau earned a Bachelor of Arts at Wesleyan University and a Juris Doctor at Cornell Law School. Early in her career she was Coordinator for International Relations in the Foreign Affairs Division of the City of Wakayama, Japan, and a corporate attorney at Morrison & Foerster.
She joined McKesson in 2008 and held a series of legal roles, becoming Senior Vice President, Corporate Secretary and Associate General Counsel in 2018. In 2021 she left to become Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary of GoDaddy, responsible for its global legal, compliance, internal audit, government affairs, sustainability and security functions.
She returned to McKesson in January 2024 as Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer. She co-chairs the National Asian Pacific Bar Association’s In-House Counsel Network and serves on the board of the Asian Pacific Fund.
