Mohajer studied Management Information Systems at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and began his career in IT at Netscape, then part of AOL and Time Warner, where he oversaw retail and enterprise channel sales and marketing. When Sun Microsystems acquired Netscape, he moved into leadership roles in Sun’s Americas Software Channel Organization.
He then spent five years as Vice President of Field Sales Operations at G.E. Access/Avnet Technology Solutions, running a multi-billion-dollar practice. That distribution-side experience, managing the channel that moves enterprise hardware and software to resellers and integrators, preceded his move to the integrator side itself.
He joined Technologent in 2008. As Executive Vice President and General Manager he was responsible for sales and marketing across the globe. In March 2018 the company announced his promotion to President, with responsibility for day-to-day global operations, succeeding founder Tom Gallaway, who had held the role for the company’s first 16 years. Gallaway said at the time that Mohajer had been integral to the growth and success of Technologent over the previous ten years.
