Professional Journey

Moore went to Georgia Tech on a track and field scholarship. She won four ACC high jump titles and graduated with highest honors in Industrial and Systems Engineering. She stayed on for a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering while training to compete in the 2000 US Olympic Trials, and her athletic career later earned her places in the Farragut High School and Georgia Tech Athletic Halls of Fame.

She started her career at Velant and then returned to Georgia Tech as an Academic Advisor. In 2007 she joined HJI Supply Chain Solutions in Louisville as a Logistics Engineer. Over the next thirteen years she moved into finance and management, first as Financial and Logistics Manager and then as Vice President of Finance and Administration.

HJI announced her promotion to Chief Executive Officer in August 2020, effective on the 21st of that month. The founders stayed on as founders and owners, and Condrad Daniels continued as President. The company, founded in 1994, provides third-party logistics and supply chain management from locations across the southeastern United States. It is certified by both the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council and the National Minority Supplier Development Council. As CEO, Moore took responsibility for the company’s strategic growth initiatives, pricing and budget governance, and its customer, community and philanthropic work. HJI describes itself as family-owned for more than 30 years, with circular logistics programmes, e-commerce fulfilment and contract logistics among its services.

Outside the company she serves on the WBEC-ORV Forum and the University of Louisville Speed School Board of Advisors. She also coaches basketball and track locally.
